It's almost baby time!

Scott took me to The Melting Pot for an early anniversary/one last date night before the baby gets here! The girls got to spend the night at my Mom's!
My handsome date and I.
He is down 40lbs and he looks so good! I on the other hand gained what he lost, lol.
The lovely and oh so flattering picture of us from The Melting Pot.
Zachary's room is all finished!
My Mom and Aunt painted the pictures of the lion, elephant, and monkey hanging on the walls (in the 1st two pictures). They turned out amazing!
Then and Now:
When we first found out I was pregnant, it was the day the Cardinals lost to the Saints in the playoffs. We took pictures of me and the girls in our Cardinals shirts as my "before" shot.
Here are the girls then....
And now
Here is my then...
And my now!
Taken last Sunday!
The shirt still sorta fits! Just a tad tight on my belly...
My babies.
My doctor scheduled me for an induction this Tuesday, the 21st, at 9pm. I really was hoping to go into labor on my own but it's not looking like it will happen before the induction date. He is a big baby boy, estimated at 8lbs 11oz, so it's best for both baby and I to get him out asap. So Tuesday evening it is! Wish me luck!

Baby Celebration

My sister-in-law and I are both pregnant and due within about 2 months of each other. We are both expecting little boys so we decided to have a combined baby celebration! It was a lot of fun and there was a full house!
Here is the cake! It was awesome and very delicious!
Cutting our cake, wedding style. lol
The kids couldn't wait to get a piece.
Haylee inspecting her bite.
We made shirts for Rylee, Haylee, and Elijah that stated they were the big sisters/brother. This is the best picture I have and it's only of Haylee! But here she is, the soon to be big sister (and some of the party guests!)!
Twin outfits for the twin cousins!
Everyone was so generous, our little guys are already very spoiled. All of the blue stuff is so different and surreal to me! I am so used to pink and fluff! I love preparing for this little guy, it's very exciting!
Thank you everyone for coming and celebrating with us!

Weekend Getaway

This past week my Mom and Aunt rented a cabin and invited us up over the weekend. It was so nice having a mini-escape to enjoy the cool air and pine trees. The cabin was nice and had a few different things to do out in the yard.
There was a hammock that the girls loved.
And a porch swing.
They had a tree with posts in it so you could climb it. Scott was the only one who made it all the way up.
Rylee climbing the tree

Daddy stepped away just long enough to get a picture
Haylee gave it a try too
On Saturday, we took a little drive and went to a lake.
Looking for crawdads.
I didn't even think to pack the girl's swimsuits, I figured the water would be too cold. It didn't stop Haylee though. She stripped down immediately.
Scott in deep concentration trying to tie a rock to a string to catch a crawdad.
He didn't have any luck catching one though.
Skipping rocks

They loved having their Grammie and Auntie read them a story and tuck them in every night.
My cutie-pie
They loved the cabin!

Only 2 months left!

I went in for another ultrasound today to check the growth of our baby. He is still measuring about 2 weeks ahead of schedule and his head is measuring above average. So basically he is going to be big, which we already figured! We have to keep checking on him to see if I need to be induced early (at 38 weeks) or not since our girls were 8 lbs 12 oz and 9 lbs 1 oz. We are all assuming that a boy is going to be even bigger! He looks great though! And he is still a he!! Now it's time to paint his nursery! Goodness I can't wait to meet this little guy, I can't wait to see what a boy of ours looks like.
This is a picture of his face almost looking straight on. You can kind of see he's got puffly little cheeks.

Birthdays and 4th of July

Scott turned 27! I got him a BodyBugg to help him win the weight loss competition between him and all of his brothers! We also had a date afternoon and saw a movie that I cannot share publicly because it is too embarrassing that Scott picked this BIG release movie to see for his birthday. He's such a teenage girl at heart.
The next day was 4th of July. We went to my Mom's for a BBQ and to watch fireworks.
The girls watching the fireworks...Rylee in the ballerina dress she always has to put on when we go to Grammie's.
What the boys did to entertain themselves in the street.
Then I turned 26! Rylee decorating the cake my Mom and Aunt made for me.
Scott got me a breadmaker for my birthday so I made my first loaf of homemade bread and took a picture of it with my awesome new camera my Mom got me!!
Scott's family took me to Cheesecake Factory. Apparantly they sang "Happy Birthday" too loud for Rylee's taste. I love this picture for many reasons.
