It's a.......

BOY!
We feel so incredibly blessed. We can't believe we are actually going to have a son! We feel like our little family is complete and we just feel overjoyed! Our girls are so excited for a baby brother. Although Rylee wan't sure at first....she really wanted another sister! But she got over that really quickly when the ultrasound tech handed her a picture of her baby brother. I am still in shock that we are actually having a boy. It's really strange to start thinking about boy stuff, it's now blue instead of pink! I love it!

Here is our little guy!

The pictures the girls got. His hand is up by his face and he's apparently waving "hi" to his sisters!

We have a nice clear shot of "It's a Boy" but I just feel funny posting it on the internet! lol The ultrasound tech zoomed in on the area right away and we saw the part immediately. We just sat there silently waiting for her to confirm what we saw! That moment was surreal. I didn't think it was possible. It just seemed weird to think there was a boy in there! Now it feels right and all of the differences this pregnancy has brought, it has confirmed I wasn't just imagining those differences!

Easter

We had a great Easter Sunday although I didn't end up with any good pictures really. The best picture I had (the only family picture), a certain little 2 year old erased off of our camera when she got a hold of it...

The kids were on a sugar high all day. Easter morning the girls had an egg hunt at our house and we put jelly beans in the eggs. Haylee ate all of hers and was literally running circles around the living room about an hour later. (We also "enjoyed" scrambled ostrich egg for breakfast that morning. Ya, not so great..)

Here are the girls before church...they were being very uncooperative about having their picture taken in their cute Easter dresses.

After church we went to my Mom's for lunch and an Easter egg hunt.

Rylee found one of the golden eggs! She scored $5

Afterwards we went to Scott's parents for another egg and candy hunt and dinner. But of course, no pictures! Oh well, Happy Easter!

Scott Wrestles with Ostrich

Ostrich Farm

On Friday, Scott and I had our usual "So what should we do this weekend?" talk. I told him we are coloring Easter eggs on Saturday at my Mom's house and he said, "What if we show up with the biggest Easter egg ever? What if we went and got an ostrich egg?!" I thought this sounded like a great idea so we got the kids up bright and early today and headed out to the ostrich farm! It was a lot of fun!

First we fed the ostriches, donkeys, dear, goats, and lorikeets.
Scott found out he could kiss the ostriches and proceeded to do so.
Such a weird set-up to feed the goats, but whatever!

This was my favorite part!
Then we took the monster truck ride around the property.
The best Easter egg ever.
Emptying the contents.
The comparison. One ostrich egg=24 regular eggs!
