We spent New Year's Eve up at the cabin. All the kids were determined to stay up so we tried keeping them entertained. We had a lot of fun! Rylee claimed it was the best New Year's yet.
We started the evening with a delicious steak dinner.
Then the girls put on a concert that they practiced all afternoon.
I took an idea from Pinterest and had a balloon to pop at each hour with an activity for the kids to do inside each one.

One of the balloons had make s'mores in it so we built a giant fire and stayed super warm hanging out.
Then around 10:15pm we lost the first kid (Haylee) to sleep in her camp chair.
Shortly after, we lost the second one...he fell asleep face first in his camp chair. Super comfortable.
Rylee was a champ and made it until midnight!!
The 3 people (and dog) still awake in 2014! Happy New Year!
