Haylee's Birthday

My little cuddle bug is 2!
She started off her day with her breakfast of choice.
We spent the morning playing outside. (It was a gorgeous day!!)
We ate lunch outside too on their new picnic table. She helped me bake her cupcakes.
Then she REALLY wanted to open her presents.
She got a Snow White vacuum cleaner and she loves it. If only it really worked...
Then she went with Daddy to YC's to pick up dinner.
Cake time!
She was (and is) one happy girl.

Valentine's Day

Scott received a gift card for Christmas to a fancy steakhouse in Scottsdale. We decided it would be perfect to use it for Valentine's Day. My mom watched the girls and we got all dressed up to go out. This is the first time he has worn dress pants and a tie since he propsed to me almost 6 years ago! He looked so handsome!
This picture totally sums us up.
At dinner.
(Ignore the creepy smile. But do notice Scott's tie is flung over his shoulder so he could eat without it dipping in his food. Thats classy right?)
The steak was amazing! I loved having a fancy night out!

Rylee and Haylee's Birthday Party

We invited our family over for a combined birthday party for Rylee and Haylee on Saturday!
They were totally spoiled with presents...
The cake that my Mom, my Aunt, and I made for the girls!! We spent almost 3 hours putting it together.
"Happy Birthday to Rylee and Haylee!"
Haylee struggled blowing out her candles.
Enjoying cake
I asked her to show me her messy face and this is what I got...
Haylee is a cake monster. In fact when hers was all gone, she tried to take more from the main cake and sneak it onto her plate. Then she got down on the floor and tried to eat crumbs that had fallen. Last but not least, at the end of the party I caught her desperately trying to scape off the last bits of cake from her candle!
The aftermath....so sad to see our hard work destroyed in a matter of minutes!
Thank you everyone for coming and for all of the great gifts, the girls loved it!

Rylee's Day

A Birthday day completely planned out by Rylee...
For breakfast I made her cinnamon rolls with sprinkles.
Then we played with clay. She requested I make a birthday cake.
She had a pedicure.
We drew pictures. This is the ballerina she drew all by herself.
For lunch she requested toast with sprinkles, apples, and applesauce.
I took her to Cold Stone Creamery for her free birthday icecream. She picked out the blue cotton candy ice cream with sprinkles.
She came home for her nap and when she woke up she opened her presents.
We got her a new bike!
And we took her for a ride to the park.
I asked her what she wanted for dinner and told her she could pick anything. She picked Little Caesars Pizza??!
She decided a while ago she wanted a princess football cake. I looked everywhere for little princess figurines so they could play football on top of her cake. I never found what I invisioned so this is what I came up with...
She loved it!

Today is Rylee's 4th Birthday!

In honor of her birthday and the fact that I didn't have a blog back when she was born, I thought I'd share a few of my favorite pictures from her actual Birth day and a few from each year after.

Just arrived!
My baby girl
Melting Daddy's heart.
