Decorating for Christmas

The tree is up and the stockings are hung! I love decorating for Christmas and I especially love the warm glow of the tree lit up.
This is how Zach helped, all cuddled up snug as a bug. Rylee placing the star on top of the tree
And of course we had to take it down and then let Haylee do it too!
The finished product
And one picture of my little guy, this picture of him makes my heart ache.
His little face is precious.

Thanksgiving

We had a great Thanksgiving! We spent most of it at Scott's parents' and then stoped by my family's. I just wanted to share a few pictures from the day!
Zachary was pretty grumpy on his first Thanksgiving. He spent his day being passed from person to person.
Tons of great food!

2 Months Old

Zachary is 2 months old! His newest milestones are smiling and sleeping through the night! Both the girls starting sleeping through the night at this age but he was still waking up to eat every 2-3 hours so I didn't think he would this soon. But I started swaddling him again and he instantly started sleeping for longer periods until one night it was all night!
He weighs about 13lbs which means he's already outgrowing his 0-3 month clothing.
He is still my tiny baby boy though regardless if he is larger than the majority of babies!
This is what happens when I include Scott in the photoshoot...
And Scott insists this is how you get him to smile...

Life Lately

The past few weeks have been somewhat crazy. Like I said in a previous post, it seems like it's one thing after another around here lately. It held true this month too. Scott had been dealing with a very painful tooth and finally decided to get it fixed. In the begining of November the tooth was pulled and he is in the process of getting an implant. This one tooth is ridiculously expensive too! After he started feeling better, the following weekend, Rylee started acting funny. She was just lethargic all day. She was running a temperature and complained of her back hurting just on the right side. I instantly thought a bladder/kidney infection so Scott took her to urgent care. By the way, why does everything happen on the weekend? We have been to urgent care 3 times in the past 6 weeks because things keep happening over the weekend when I can't call a doctor. Anyway, it turned out she did have a bladder infection and she was perscribed antibiotics. Scott took her to Bahama Bucks afterwards for a treat for being good and while waiting in line she told him her tummy hurt. She immediatly threw up right then and there in front of everyone! He cleaned up what he could and high tailed it out of there. Needless to say he can't show his face there again! I still can't believe that happened to him and her! The medicine fixed her right up though!

Last week I was trying to balance holding a newborn all day while taking care of my girls too. I finally decided to put Zachary in the baby carrier so I could be hands free. I felt like I was pregnant again! He loved it and it rocked him right to sleep and I could get stuff done. Although, lugging around a solid 13 pound boy got pretty tiring and my shoulders were pretty sore. He was so adorable in it though!
My view of him What difference 2 months can make!
Before and After
Rylee has been such a big help. I am so thankful to have her around and so eager to help me! She loves her little brother and adores holding him! It's been hard juggling all 3 kids like I said, I feel that the girls aren't getting enough quality attention. So I took Rylee out, just me and her, to see Megamind. She talked my ear off except during the movie, which she loved watching! It was so great spending time with her! Next weekend Haylee has a date with Daddy to see a movie too!

Halloween

We started the day with our traditional spook-takular pancakes for breakfast.
We carved our pumpkins that afternoon.
Scott is seen here showing Haylee what kind of face they should put on her pumpkin.
Helping Rylee carve hers.
Our finished pumpkins
(Haylee's, Rylee's, Mine, and Scott's)
Scott's Mr. Incredible.
Part of the mouth broke off; Scott blames the carving kit. It still looked great though!
And my E.T. or in Haylee's world, T.E.
Then it was time to get the kids all dressed up.
Rylee went as Princess Belle
And Haylee as a dinosaur.
We love dressing her up silly, we laugh all night long just watching her!
Rawrrr
And little Zac as a Lion
His first Halloween
All 3 kids
We went to my Mom's to trick-or-treat with my whole family.
Haylee loved it. She was so excited! She ran to each door saying "Chick-or-cheat, tank you, byyyyeeee!" and then would scream "MOOOOOM, 2 candies!!!" Rylee was so excited jumping around that she kept spilling all of her candy. We picked it up numerous times. She also started the night with 2 halloween buckets claiming she was getting candy for Zac. She would go up to the doors and explain her baby brother needed candy too!
Zac's stayed comfy in his stroller
Haylee and Aleena.
They were so cute together holding hands!
Rylee helped little Aleena out too. So sweet!
The girls with scary Uncle Terry. Haylee is not in the picture because she was terrrifed of the costume! She gave up on candy at one house because he was too close. All the other kids love it, as do neighborhood kids that remember him from years before!
We wore the kids out and then they wore Daddy out getting back to Grammie's house!
I offered to push the stroller but Scott said no, it makes him look good. lol So I just had the task of walking and taking pictures on the long walk back. Sweet.
