Weren't you laying down a second ago?!

The other day I laid Haylee down in the living room, went into the kitchen, and when I turned and looked back at her she was sitting up! I second guessed myself, thinking "I did lay her down when I left her, didn't I?! And now she is sitting!" Now she is a pro, the second you put her down she sits right back up all by herself. She also hit another milestone, clapping her hands together. When I got excited that she sat up all by herself she immediatly started clapping. So proud of herself! Here she is right after she sat up on her own with her silly laughing face. (She has a snort laugh which explains the face...)

Our Anniversary

We have been married for 4 years now!!

My Mom watched the girls while we went out to dinner at Mastro's City Hall Steakhouse (formally Drinkwater). It was sooooo good!! I only have 2 pictures from our evening out, one is of the dessert and the other is a very unflattering picture of us!

Here is the dessert that was on the house since it was our anniversary! How nice!

Fountain Hills

We decided to take a day trip to Fountain Hills along with Tony and Holly. I love that the place we were married is such a cool place to visit! They have a new (well new to us) children's play area complete with a water zone. Rylee loved it! Daddy had to give Rylee a little push because she was being cautious about getting wet. After that she was good to go...

Chasing the ducks
Sliding...(Sorry Scott, had to post at least one! =)
Holly took this pic but I had to post it. They look they are breaking into a dance routine.
"And 5,6,7,8!"
Haylee and the fountain
The girls. This is the best picture I could get of them, lol.
Family of 4
Scott and I were trying to get a picture of just the 2 of us but Rylee kept interfering. This is Rylee trying to press the button on the camera just as the self-timer went off. lol
We got it

A few highlights from last week:

Rylee went stinky on the potty!!! She asks everytime she has to go now. It magically clicked, just like everyone and everything I've read said it would happen! I am so excited!!! Finally!
We bought Haylee a walker because I just didn't know what to do with her in this inbetween stage. She isn't crawling yet so I wanted to give her a way to get around. She is like a little Mini-Me following me around.
We also got her a big girl car seat. The days of lugging her around in the ridiculously heavy infant carrier are over, thank goodness!!
Her first trip in it.

The Library

My Mom and I took the girls to the library to check out the new children's center. It was really neat and the girls loved it!
Here's Rylee in the kitchen in the toddler section. She was busy cooking a plastic tomato...
Haylee Forever
Haylee's favorite part. Who knew blocks on a string could be so fascinating?
The playground
Rylee went down this slide over and over and over and over...... Princess Haylee
"I want this book!"
Time to go! Rylee was not happy...

Proof that kids grow up waaay too fast

Look how much they have changed in only 5 months!!! Suddenly my baby is a kid and Rylee has crazy long legs!!

We all took a walk around our neighborhood on Sunday and as I pushed the stroller the girls held hands! Oh my, talk about melting my heart. I hope they stay best friends forever.

Watch out...Here comes Haylee!

Haylee pushed up on her hands and knees yesturday all by herself! We think she will be crawling any day now!!! To me, she seems too little to be doing this already!! Awww
Haylee seems to steal the "blog" attention lately since she is at the age where she does something new every week. So here is Rylee being her silly cute self.
